Rock Camp

CLASSIC CAMP DATES: July 20-24
TIME: 8 AM - 5 PM
LOCATION: KMFA Classical Radio
SHOWCASE: July 25 at (TBA) , 1 PM
MEDIAN TUITION: $500

Classic Rock Camp includes an enriching experience over five full days, filled with instrument instruction, collaborative band practice, and engaging workshops. Returning campers have options to concentrate on a particular area of interest, and our younger campers under the age of 11 can participate in the Electric Youth workshops, which are designed to include age-appropriate games and activities. The camp culminates in an exciting showcase, where campers perform their original songs at a local music venue in Austin.

SHOWCASE: August 8 at (TBA), 1 PM

MEDIAN TUITION: $500

Advanced Camp is back! It’s the rock camp that you know and love with double the band practice and specialty high-level workshops. Campers have the freedom to perform as many songs as they can prepare for the showcase. This session is for rockers 12 and up, who have either attended a Girls Rock camp session before, or have 2 or more years of experience with their instrument. Girls Rock Austin is implementing a new sliding-scale tuition rate for camp. Financial concerns should never limit an individual's creative expression, and we aim to ensure that all budding musicians can rock out at our programs.
